FranKeymasterOur first pre-submitted question:
What is endometriosis and how can it affect people at work?

FranKeymasterOkay, so Endometriosis is a long-term condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows outside the uterus – most commonly on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, or pelvic lining. This tissue still responds to hormonal changes each month, which can lead to inflammation, pain, and sometimes scarring.

FranKeymasterit can affect people at work in the following ways:
– Severe pain can make it difficult to sit, stand, or concentrate
– Flare-ups may be unpredictable
– Fatigue can reduce energy and productivity
– Time off may be needed during severe symptoms or medical appointments
– Many people still come to work but struggle to function fully (presenteeism)
