Hi Stephanie, I had covid when I was 6 months pregnant and was told at the time that it would never affect the baby, even though I couldn’t breathe and had to take steroids to get better. I hope they gives you some kind of reassurance… my pregnancy was as a result of ivf over a 6 year period of time…

Hi Stephanie,
I haven’t been in the situation myself or know someone who was. Did you call your clinic to ask them for some advice? I wouldn’t think that just because of having covid your chances are slimmer? Are you feeling really poorly with it. I can only imagine how difficult this must feel for you. Sending you lots of strength and love -

Thank you so much Hela. I let me clinic know and in case we should be worried for anyone else at the clinic the same time as me, but they have not come back to me unfortunately. My usual contact is off this week. They are usually very good at getting back to me. I am quite unwell, but if I didn’t know it was COVID, I’d say it was a bad cold. I naturally worried because the clinic advised me to get my boosters before the transfer so that I didn’t get COVID afterwards…..so I perhaps could be feeling much worse than I am, but because they said that I am worried. All I can do is get better and deal with whatever comes next. There’s not much written about it from what I can find. Thank you for your reply x

KeymasterI have just had a FET and I contracted COVID four days later . I’m devastated. It was our first transfer and the best embryo. Has anyone had experience of this happening in the two week wait?
