Hi, yes our first round just failed and I’m the same, really struggling emotionally. It’s so difficult, I have ok days and bad days. Just trying to keep busy. We go forward for the second round In April. When do you go again? Xx

Same… I wasn’t prepared for how tough this would be mentally. We’re not sure yet when to try again, going to meet the doctor later this week to talk about it. Good luck with yours xx

We’ve just found out our first round has failed! We have no backups and only entitled to this one round, so feeling a bit lost and unsure of direction (medically and financially)! I agree it’s emotionally draining but also now having the financial worry on top! Hopefully meeting the doctor this week too, looking forward to hearing more from you girls this week ❤️ Good luck with your appts

Both my first and second cycles failed then my third and fourth were successful but unfortunately ended in miscarriage. I’m currently trying to muster up the strength to start a fifth cycle. The emotional and physical effects it takes on you is huge, I’m not ready to give up yet but I don’t know how much more I can take, when do you say enough is enough?! I can’t bear to think that it may never happen x

I’m trying to work up to going for our third transfer after two failed transfers, it will be our last unless we do another egg collection (and spend a small fortune again)… I don’t feel atm I can do another collection. Emotionally and physically with the injections it was awful. I have found myself delaying engaging again and realising so much emotionally is tied into it.

I always thought I would deal with the transfers better than I did…. It’s tough. You do have highs, try and talk to someone. I know it’s not always easy. Good luck x

Hi, first round has failed and I’m really struggling emotionally. Anyone else been through this? How did you manage? And how long did you wait before going for the second round?
