Hi,i am new to the community. I am going to be 51 in September and have thought about IVF for sometime now. I know that my age is going against me due to age limits. However, does anyone know of clinics in the UK or Europe that will go to the late or middle 50s? I am going to start contacting clinics individually to ask but thought I would ask on here in case there is anyone in a similar situation. Thank you, Jo

      Hi Jo,

Welcome to the community page. Some clinics in the UK will treat up to the age of 55 years when using donor eggs. Most will have a cut off at 55 so the best thing to do would be to look into clinics that offer egg donation or have an egg bank and contact them to see what their age limit is.

Have a look on the HFEA website http://www.hfea.gov.uk as they have a ‘choose a fertility clinic’ option that may help.
