Hello,I wondered if anyone had any experiences with a double transfer?I am 42, I had 18 eggs collected but only 2 ended up becoming blastocysts I’ve spoken to my clinic and although they have said it is my choice, they’re recommending putting two blastos in with the hope that one might help the other ? I hadn’t heard about this before but welcome any insight anyone is willing to share with me.Thank you

      Hi Chantelle,

      How are you doing?

This is fairly normal practice in fertility clinics. If you are over the age of 40, then they often suggest putting 2 back to increase your chances of conception as they may not both implant. You do have to be aware though, that they both could implant and then there is a risk of multiple pregnancy – but your clinic should have chatted that through with you and given you the information so you can think about it and make the right decision for you.

      I hope that helps?

      Speak soon,

      Fran
